What a week!
I have to apologize to everyone I left "Hanging" over the last several days...
Work has been super busy and I had 36 hours of overtime last week.. Friday's storms left us without power, as well as lots of other people/friends in the area. I spent all day Saturday, working on generators and getting them working and hooked up for those I could. We bought one of the cheap Champion generators from camping world and used it for about 10 hours. I dug Kitty's propane powered Onan generator out of the shed and made it back into a portable unit again. We used it, until the power finally came back on. I found a 5,000 watt generator on craigslist a couple of months ago and got it for a song. We loaned that one to one of Kitty's friends.
Since I had the Onan running again, we loaned the Champion to another of Kitty's friends (She still doesn't have power and probably won't for several days!) Kitty's son borrowed a 6,500 watt genny, but someone had removed the outlet that we needed to use. I hard-wired that into his well pump and a few lights, but at least we had water!
Having to spend most of Saturday night at the hospital didn't help things much, but Kitty had to kick me out of there. I have no idea why though... I had only been up for 21 hours and worked myself sick the whole day...
It all paid off though.. I was able to help four families and still see to Kitty's needs.
I need a camping trip now!
.

Your ability to help others and still do what is needed at home is remarkable. Now to get everything to calm down some so you can do for yourself. Now get that lady home so you'll feel better.
