Sad day in West Virginia

YEP, we winterized Sunny 14 this evening. With all that we have going on, doubt that we'll get out again before spring First, Gary used his compressor and blew out the water lines, then I installed the winterizing kit and fed Sunny a good dose of the wonderful pink juice. I had not got around to installing the winterizing kit until this evening, ya know, one of those gotta get around toit kinda things. With Gary helping things went a lot faster than when I did it on my own. Also emptied the fridge & pantry. Hoping to still get the black tank repair completed before it's too frigid to be outside.

HUM, maybe I'll have to start working on a "2010" Sunline

Kitty

Wow a new sig pic..... I was wondering when that was coming....

You can always camp in the yard. It is not unheard of and has been done many times before by other SOC members. Even doing a lunch or supper in the camper is better then waiting until spring....

Or you could take up winter camping. No bugs and no crowds. Nothing like having an entire state park to share with like 2 or 3 other die hards...

John,
I have told Gary several times, that we need to arrange to meet you & Cindy someplace between your home and ours and have a camping weekend. Boy, Gary & I would learn a LOT !!!!

Ron and Alice: Please take a "backyard" trip or a local shakedown cruise before going on your long journey......don't want to find out something is not working on your first trip or that you forgot to pack something!!!

Our dealer relayed to us during our delivery (2006) that Sunline had pulled a dealer's franchise because a family took thier camper directly to FL after picking it up and the dealer didn't catch a faulty refrigerator in thier prep. We don't have Sunline around anymore to send a new refrigerator and a repairman to FL to put it in (according to our dealer that's what Sunline did). Anyhow, it's amazing what can pop up when you actually use things.

Our first trip was to a KOA five miles away from home and I know we made at least three or four trips home for things we should have had.
