Lost out on a 12 1/2 MC!
Found a mid-80's 12 1/2 MC in the local want ads (but 2 1/2 hours away), and emailed the contact just before 10 yesterday morning. Trailer looked to be in great shape, all sorts of options (furnace, toilet, etc.) for $1500.
I never heard anything back till after 8 last night. Some fellow was coming by at 8 this morning to look at it and if he wasn't interested, they would get back to me. So this fellow comes by at 8 and gives them $100 deposit with a promise to bring the rest tomorrow.
If these folks would have checked their email earlier and/or put a phone number in the ad, I could have made the trip yesterday afternoon with cash in hand. Same deal today. I could go to take a look, and if it looked good, the owner could have had the $1500 they were asking for today.
I am well aware that life isn't fair, but this was very frustrating!
Oh well, back to work on the Sunspot.
