Forest River Surveyor T251

Looking for comments on this RV. Stoltzfus has one advertised as the same layout as the Sunline 2499 but at a much lighter weight that looks to be towable by our 2006 Expedition. What does the group think about this unit and about Forest River products in general?

Well...never had a Surveyor, but our neighbors do and they really like it. I can vouch for Stoltzfus as a great dealer.

I've read many good things about Stoltzfus on this list. It's great to know people like the dealer.

We would like to have a larger TT and love the Sunline 2499 but it's not towable with the Expedition so we have started to look at other units. This won't be a quick process for us but I'm thinking the more education we have, the better decision will be made. We are both so spoiled by the Sunline's qualty that we want the same quality in another brand or we'll just keep the one we have.

There are no current plans to replace the tow vehicle as the mileage is low and the SUV suits our needs for carrying our standard poodles and our stuff.
