1992 T2363 Solaris

I just purchased a 1992 T2363 Solaris for use at the atv park I ride at,The roof is soft but doesn't leak and the previous owner put a patch where the useless TV antenna used to be,YUP its soft everywhere but the center and the floor in the front is soft too,Im not a newbie to camper/Rv repair and this will get what is needed to correct the problems,My only issue so far is what to use for underlayment on the roof before I reskin it with epdm or tpo rubber,My thought is luan? any input here? Ive read on this site that Sunline used some halfa--ed cardboard product Thank You Dave

The roof on a Sunline would seem to be soft since it's basically only rubber with no substantial underlayment. You can only walk on the joists. That's normal and if it's not leaking, it's probably okay.
