Campground Recommendation South Carolina

I am looking for a good place to stop overnight in South Carolina either off I-77 between Rock Hill and Columbia, or off I-26 between Columbia and I-95. Close to the highway is best.

We are heading home this weekend and it's my first time hauling the trailer so I dont want to drive into the night. I just need a safe place with clean bathrooms and a 30A hookup.

You might check the Carowinds campground. Nice, has pull thru sites. Might cost more but convenience is worth something. Also, a KOA at the Gold Hill Exit off of I-77 is handy. Close to interstate but sites can need leveling of camper. For one night passing thru you might can make do with the KOA.

Sesquincentennial state park. Right off I77 Columbia SC. Stayed there. Nice park, reasonable rates. Would stay there again.

Thanks for your advice guys, we actually managed to get a very early start and ended up stopping at the KOA in St. Augustine in Florida. Made it much further than I expected
