Update on fix for broken window

I had posted months ago that a jackass had tried to break into our Sunline right in the driveway. Well the only thing he managed to do was break the glass out of the window by the entrance door. The smaller pane on the crank out portion of the window. I was looking to have to replace the complete window but thought maybe I could just remove that small hinged section and have the glass replaced. Well that is what I did. Hardest part was removing the sticky stuff from the duct tape I used to seal the whole over the winter. I removed the section, took it apart, removed the remains of the glass, wife took the frame to a local glass store and they were able to replace the glass with the same tint as the factory original. I repainted the aluminum, and reinstalled. It looks like new, works fine, and it only costs me $35.00. Still wish I could find that low life and take him on a one way deep sea fishing trip.

It is always good to see a repair that is relatively inexpensive, at least it was not the whole window. Thanks for letting us know how it turned out, it may help the next person.

As to the perp, the words "shark bait" come to mind.

Speaking of criminals, we own a small business and we have been having some theft problems at night when no one is there (it is by a lake out in the country.) My husband purchased a camera security system but hadn't had time to install it yet. Well, some dirt bag shot out some windows in the building so my husband decided to hurry up and install it. It turns out that someone stole the still in the box security system lol

I mean..it's not funny but we are laughing because...well...you know...it's funny. lolololol It just doesn't get any worse than that lolololol

Yes, funny in an ironic kind of way.
