tire pressure

My T1700 lists the tire pressure at 32 psi. that seems low to me they are rated 50 psi at max load any thoughts? They are 175/80 13 and I'm heading to Canada tomorrow so I thought it would be a good ideal to check the pressure.

Based on what i've read hear and my experience, I run mine at the max pressure of 50 psi. We just did 1500 miles at that, in the heat, no problems. Sue & Bob

Tire Pressure

We have Goodyear Marathon tires and they recommend 50 PSI and that is what is stamped on the side of the tire and so I run 50 PSI all the time.

I asked a tire dealer once and he said that if you run the tires at anything besides what is printed on the side wall, you'll wear them out quickly.

Mine are a higher load rating and require 60psi.
