Recommended Grease?

Hello all. So I am new to this travel trailer thing and decided to check the bearings for grease on the recent trailer purchase. It looks fine but I have no idea how old it is. The grease looks like it was grey in color and is mostly black now, (some of the newer stuff was on the end of the spindle). I have seen red and blue type grease out there but what is recommended? Also, I am guessing that I should just order some bearing seals since I might damage the old ones on disassemble? I have two Dexter 3500# axles; would these seals work? Well if it's listed to fit they should be fine. Any wheel bearing grease will work just don't use chassis grease. In the future NAPA has seals and bearing kits to fit most any camper trailer axle.
