I installed the AC a few months after we purchased it in 82. Cut a new roof vent hole in the back of the camper because I am 6'1" and would have bumped my head if it was installed in the galley area. The installation required that I reinforce the roof back there and install a third circuit breaker and wire.

Post Report: I came across the paperwork for the AC and we actually purchased it in 1985 a couple of years after purchase. Got to thinking about it and the Dealer had installed a Dometic Air Conditioner in the Galley when we purchased it. I asked him to remove it when I realized that I would constantly bump my head on it - so the circuit breaker and wire were installed already. All I had to do was re-route the wire to the new rear vent location. The Air Conditioner is a Coleman TSR Mach 3 with optional heat strip. It has served us well over the years. I did find that it is important to remove the cover and drip oil into the feeder tubes on the motor annually.

The circuit breaker and wire I installed was for the fast recovery water heater - not the air conditioner (a senior moment.)

is that the original paint job on your camper ? we have a 1985 Sunline almost identical to your layout but ours has the tan color paint and our stripes have become faded and cracked over the years .. such a nice camper you have . we took the bench and table out on the side near the door and put in a small recliner and small drop leaf table that we have really enjoyed .

Yes, it is original paint. Sunline went to the tan color with the 1984 models I think. Some of my stripes are damaged because I used a pressure washer on it without thinking one year. We also just picked up a new large "Sunline" Logo sticker for the front (ours is faded) on ebay. I think that if I tackle the stripes I will paint them instead of using a sticker - but as I am fond of saying... It doesn't have to be perfect, just good enough. Thanks for the Comment!
