Hi Kathy,
I've been pawned off, to a third doctor. This one is in Baltimore, MD and is a team surgeon for the Ravens.
Nobody nearby, wants to even attempt the surgery I need. Their issue, is that where the drill bit comes out of the bone, there are arteries and nerves. One slip of the drill and I could either bleed-out, or lose the nerves going to my lower leg.
I go see this guy on Tuesday.. I will report back...

What's his name? My brother in law started the sports trauma center in Baltimore! He is still active but no longer doing surgery.

That's wild, never heard of anything like it! We have a friend who flew 'copters in the Air Force, he'd love it.
Good luck on Tuesday.
