Hi Bill,

Welcome to Sunline Owners Club! Glad to have you with us.

Try this post. Just posted today, 2 folks here have 2 sources that may help on the decals if the King family is out of them. By the way, the Kings are great!

Sunline logo decals

Hope this helps

John

Bill,
My husband and I have a limited supply of Sunline Decals. What we have is all that is left from the business closing. If the decal you want is the 28 x 15, with an orange sun, I have been selling them on EBay for about $30. I can send you one in a mailing tube so it has no fold creases. Shipping and handling is $5. If you want to purchase one, you can pay by Paypal or send a check. Use jan@mdking.net for e-mailing us directly or paying by Paypal. Hope that helps.

Gentle heat to loosen them up. Mama's hair dryer works great. Use a plastic putty knife to help get the edges up so you can grab them to peel back. (I use a thumb nail myself.)

If it is a large decal, work on one small area at a time, maybe 6"x6" or so.

Don't get things so hot that you'll burn the paint or the decals, just heat them up enough to soften up the material and the adhesive so that it will pull away easily.

Any residual adhesive can be cleaned off with mineral spirits, etc. Don't rub a lot, just wet the adhesive until it gets gooey and then wipe it away. (If you do this, test a small spot first to make sure that the trailer is not painted with an oil based paint.) I have also had good luck with WD-40.

sunline decals

We just had a sunline decal made by GW Signs in Harrisburg PA. Phone #717-234-4055 He makes decals for trucks and so we gave him brochure with photo and the dimensions. We're really pleased with it.
