Purchased a 1985 Sunline T-1350
Hey everybody, I'm new to this website and also a new Sunline camper owner. Last week, we purchased a 1985 Sunline pull behind camper that is 13ft. I have uploaded some pictures of it in an album on my page, but we plan to restore most of it. My dad is helping tremendously with restoring it, and I plan to take pictures of the progress until we get it "camp-able".
The first thing we have started with, is the flooring. When we purchased the camper, the flooring had wood laminate that seemed....squishy when you stepped on it. My dad tore the flooring up and revealed rotten wood underneath. We are taking a drill and taking the rotten pieces of plywood out.
Other than the flooring, almost everything else is fine. We have noticed where there once were small leaks on places on the wall, but we believe they have been fixed and there are no more leaks. We plan to paint the outside, inside, and many other things!

Welcome to the club from Maryland. Sounds like you'll be camping in no time.

Hi TaylorB,
Welcome to Sunline Owners Club and congrats on your new camper!
On your floor rot, if you want to see inside the walls without taking them apart, see this post on a moisture meter. They do not cost that much but can really help tell you if there is a gloaming problem you cannot see before you put a lot of work in the camper. If there is no problem, then great! If there is one, then knowing about it helps make future decisions easier when to do some upgrades.

Any and all questions are welcome. Ask away.
Have a good time camping this year. And thanks for sharing your pics. Nice to see.
John

When we purchased the camper, a lot of things were not original and some original pieces still look rough. We're pretty much just going to fix what is there and restyle the inside to look fresher and cleaner with new paint, flooring, backsplashes, etc.
