Smile Receiver hole on f-150 tow and go

Hello,
I am Gene from Hampton GA and need a little help on which tow slot is the best choice for my recently purchased T2363 which I am towing with F-150 with tow and go pkg and have Husky WD hitch with Sway bar.
The receiver has 2 holes to receive. Which one should I use? Front or back.
TIA
Gene

Always use the one closest to the ball, unless it causes a problem. The shorter your shank is, the more strength it has.

BTW: Welcome to the SOC!

Ditto, reduce the leverage on the hitch.

If I use the closet one to the ball it would be the second one, is this what you are saying? In other words the 2cnd hole from where the shank is installed?

Make sure the holes are both the same size and the front one will receive your pin. I've seen some newer hitches that have the two holes but the front one is smaller. I believe this is for a new style bike rack, which locks in two places to keep the rack more stable when it has bikes on it.

Yes, unless the second one is smaller, like Jon said. It would be the hole, which is closest to the ball.
