Painting the front window cover - Questions

1st - what is that cover made of? Fiberglas? Plastic?

2nd - What kind of paint will work best without damaging the cover?

I keep the blinds pulled up when I'm sleeping because I tend to throw my arms over my head. When I whack the blinds, the noise wakes me up. The problem is that when we are staying in a well-lit area like an RV park, the cover just lets too much light in. I was hoping I could paint the inside of the cover to block more light.

Sunline Fan is an unknown quantity at this point
Personally I'd try to get some black rubber mat material from Home Depot or Lowes and stick that in there with tape or something. I think it would block more light than any paint and could be easily removed without the mess.

Window Shade

I used an XL windshield sunshade--shiny with foam interior. It's just big enough you can cut it down to fit between the cover and the glass perfectly. An added bonus is it adds a bit of insulation to the window. I velcroed it on but we never open the front shade--it's a bedroom. The best part is it only cost a dollar.
