Lug nut caps?
Does anyone know how to size the lug nut caps so I can order replacements?

My thought would be to use the lug nut size which I think was 3/4" on mine.

Well, if the brake drum studs are 1/2 - 20 fine thread, the standard lug nut to match that has a 13/16 hex.
I know this conflicts with Genes note however I know my 2004 lug nuts take a 13/16 socket. They are bigger then the standard 1/2 bolt which does have a 3/4" hex. Gene's is a slightly older camper and may be different.
I do not know if years ago they use to have a smaller hex on them. They need enough meat on the nut to create the bevel.
Dave, what size socket did you use when you changed the wheels?
We are assuming you are asking about the hex size right?

Yup, I just checked my old lugnuts and they are 13/16.
Memory is the second thing to fail ... and I forget what the first is.

Mine did the same from going to the new wheels and new chrome capped nuts.

Gene,
Yes, the senior moments are becoming more frequent now a days. As long as I stored the thought a good 20 years ago, it is pretty well stuck in there..... While I did not have a camper 20 years ago.... 13/16" wheel nuts have been around that long... Maybe I was remembering the wrong wheels???
