Electric Jack Lube ????

I can't read the number, but I have an Atwood electric tongue jack.
Ordered it with the TT, so probably whatever Sunline was using in 2006.

Anyway, it's starting to get noisy when raising the trailer. I can't find any zerks. So, is there a method to lube these things?

Gene is an unknown quantity at this point
As I recall, remove a couple of screws and lift off the top cover and apply grease (not oil) to the drive gears.

WHen I removed the cover of our old Barker jack, there was PLENTY of grease in it. Problem was, that it was in big blobs and only a small amount was on the gears themselves.

In our case, I had to clean all the grease out. Some of the gear teeth had broken off and I needed to replace the gear.

In your case, I believe it may be the motor making all the noise and not the gears. If that's the case, I believe JohnB would be the man to ask about the possibilities of lubing it.

I was eyeballing those cover screws, but I didn't want to go too far before I checked here.
