Switch???
1986 Sunline Saturn:
What is the switch under the sink, built into the cabinet, just between stove and sink?
Doesn't appear to be a add-on (modification).
Thank You

My first guess would be water pump on/off switch. Might have one in bathroom also.

I can't tell from your little photo of your T-1661 if you have a outside light near your door or on that side of your trailer. I'm guessing no.
On my 1983 T-1550 I have an outside light. As I enter the trailer, mounted on the left side, which is also just above my water pump and fresh water tank, I have two rocker switches side-by-side. One for the water pump and one for the outside light.
In your case (esp. if you have no outside light) and if your water pump is on the inside wall of this switch I also would guess water pump.
You should be able to trace the wires to the pump.

One is probably your lighted exterior grab handle, and if you have it, a porch flood light as well. The other is likely the water pump as the others have said.

Ok after hours of tracking wires (Because last owner had a problem(s) and bypassed this that and everything else GEEZ) I ripped out all his handy work!!!! Then trough common sense wired it back to so-called normal, I still had nothing! I sat back and drank a beer and remembered (After all the previous reading I did) HEY! GFI receptacle in bathroom!!! It was bad.
It seems in the 1986 Sulnline Saturn, The landline comes into the breaker box to the breakers, from the 20amp breaker to the GFI receptacle in the bathroom then out to the receptacle behind the refrigerator, Daisy chained out to the rest of the receptacles. The 15amp breaker goes to the converter/inverter. then out to the campers 12v system. After replacing all the 15amp buss fuses on the converter/inverter
EVERYTHING WORKS EVERYTHING!!!!! I haven't checked the battery charger part of the system yet, nor running off the battery, I left it disconnected as of now. bad weather coming today (North Central PA.) I will update that part later.
Thanks for the forum I would probably be still scratching my head.

Switch under sink is the water pump (none in the bathroom). Other switch by the back door goes to the outside light.

Glad also all is well.
Those GFI's can get you at times.
Feed back is always good as there is so many little variations from year to year on any given model. That is one reason pictures of the unit in question can help so much. Also previous owners make modifications which may have impact on answers and solutions.

Thank You bunjin you answered another question I had. In the beginning thought process I thought the switch under the sink was to go from ac to dc (last camper had one) then after I got everything working I found out it was the pump I wondered where the ac/dc switch was (I was still looking for it!). Now I know it's automatic I can stop looking for it...
Next time I'll try to take pictures. Last time I never thought of it because of tools, lying on the floor, thinking etc...
And Thank You everyone else also!

Well I expected trouble disconnecting the landline and running off the battery. Hooked up battery, replaced 15amp inline fuse, disconnected landline and all is good, no problems, all 12v components work fine and test fine, even the charger. My charger charges the battery @ 3.28amps/14.3v.
Thanks again for everyone's help!
Now onto the Grey water and Waste tanks. Seems as though the camper was bottomed out! I have broken stuff under there. Waiting for better weather.
Thanx

A good way to test a gfci with out plug in tester, check for test trip function push tast button, then if wired properly the reset button pushed will reset. If installing be sure power connection is to line side,
If Daisy chain to other outlets down stream , for them to be gfci protected attach load side to down stream outlets.
If normal outlets downstream bring second set wires from line of gfci .this allows gfci to function with out interruption of power to normal outlets.
Seek advice if not familiar with 120 volt wiring.
22yrs combined Electrical ( 14 commercial/industrial, 8 residential)
As we were taught 1/100 of an amp can be lethal, this is the reason for gfci receptacles.
