Description
Brochure features details on the new Advancer Lite line of Taper-Body travel trailers. Designed for easier towing, these trailers had tapered sidewalls to help reduce frontal drag.
Models included in this brochure are the L-21A, L-21B, L-21C, L-25J, L-25K, and L-25R.
Due to the extra work required to produce this design as well as the higher price tag associated to the standard fiberglass exterior, the Advancer Lite was never a huge seller. The idea was great, but in a time when most consumers were either parking the trailers at one location or didn't mind the fuel costs to tow a larger trailer, fuel savings didn't attract most consumers. Had they been like ten years later with this idea, it would have really taken off, I think.
