2007 t-1950

We bought an 07 T-1950 last fall and are getting ready for our first weekend out. I have a couple of ?'s, we kept our batteries on trickle chargers all winter - do the batteries get hooked in series or sequence? Also the window beside the bed, the seal is loose in the corner how do we repair or replace it?
Thanks in advance!

The batteries are to be hooked up positive to positive and negative to negative. I had as many as 4 hooked together for a weeks stay. Is the window the rear awning or the side slider? I can't picture a seal other than the steel frame as opposed to the rubber seal as on the front window. A steel frame can be loosened and caulked. I had to remove the rubber seal in front once and reset it. Not difficult.

JohnB is on a distinguished road
If you have 2 batteries that are both 12 volt batteries, it needs to be a parallel setup. And ideal is to use this method which can provide a more equal equal discharge and charge. It is a parallel setup. Notice the camper cables hook to alternate batteries and not the same one.

The window seal, need more info on which seal you are referring to help better.

Hope this helps

John

PS Congrats on your new camper!

Thanks for the quick replies, so not so quick on my end...dsl issues for a week now.

The battery issue is kinda resolved - had them properly connected and nothing worked. Got out an ext cord and tried that - lights and everything good. Must have a bad/loose connection from battery back, both batteries test good with an ohm meter.

Window seal - will try to post a pic when I get one tomorrow in the daylight hours.

Thanks for all the help and advice.

Thanks for all help.
Battery. You'll see a battery switch on the front of the unit, make sure it's on or open the black box to see if the fuse inside is good.

Window. You should see the two ends of the rubber gasket toward the top of the window. Use a rubber hammer for this. Pull the gasket away from the frame and re-install it with the hammer without being too tight at the corners. When finished you might see a larger gap between the ends, close it with caulk. If the gasket is difficult to re-set, use a little soap.

I had to do this on the front window.
