Honda03842 is an unknown quantity at this point
Side or Read Door

I don't know which is more popular but comments about door location would be appreciated.

We had the side door, which gives you a much more open feeling. BUT if we had had the rear door we might have kept it a little longer. Making the sofa into a bed every night got old REALLY fast. I always thought that with the rear entry there would have been a mod that could be done so that we could have left a bed made up and still had a place to sit mid trailer. The whole bed thing, along with no place to sit when the bed was made is why we got rid of the QUE. (and we hated the faucet/sink/stove combo)(and Lee gave us a great deal on Tweety)

Norm,

We have the RE rear door. The #1 reason for us was the Larger Bed it is a over size KING. #2 The galley has more standing room. They made more SE models..... RE or SE have more counter space then much larger trailers.

Norm.....

Sharon and I put about two years and 25,000 miles on our Que before I could admit to myself we'd downsized too far for our type of RVing. But I have to agree with Tweety in that we'd have lasted far longer with a somewhat different layout that could be better adapted for indoor relaxation.

The RE (which reminds me of some truck campers on layout) probably could have been better adapted for sitting than was our SE.

Of course, the shower/bathroom in either was superior to most medium-sized RVs!

Norm when the wife & I looked at the two we like the SE due to a couple things:

- you came out under the awning, kinda nice when raining
- more counter space when prep-ing food

As far as the bed we usually keep it in couch mode until we are ready for sleep, then we take turns making it while the other showers...... makes for more room & let me pick what I wanta watch on TV
