Got my cabinet mod done!

I really needed easier access to that dead space behind the clock panel above the sink. With my back problems I can't reach and stretch! Luckily I had a smaller leftover cupboard door from a previous project when I added an extra heat vent for the LR area-it will certainly do the job until I happen upon a larger door--in fact it just might stay!!! I popped out the blank panel and stored it away for "just in case"..moved the clock to the wall to the right of the sink..I had some older Sunny panelling on hand so used that to fill in the short space (also some old edge trim from Sunline that I bought once upon a time on one of my many visits there.) VOILA!!!! I can now use my cupboard and actually see what is in there! And if it needs to be returned to original, everything is here and ready..I feel it is fine though for my needs. And I only have about three hours of actual physical work in it--and best of all--NO COST! Janalee

Good Job! We had the same panel with the clock in the Tweety kitchen, and put a door there. It's just not functional without a door. I'm sure you'll be much happier now

Nice job. Now your clock is where my paper towel holder is. My wife keeps losing stuff in that cabinet and it always turns up behind that panel. She isn't tall enough to see back there and I am tall enough to whack my head on the corner of the lift up door while finding the lost stuff.

Looks good, Janalee! Great idea to access that space more easily.
