Camping this summer

We have made some reservations made for this summer.

Labor day we're going to the KOA at Watkins Glen. We've gone there for the last 5 years for that weekend. It makes a nice shakedown run for the season. It's close enough to home that if there is a problem we can get back home, but far enough to get away.

Then June 6, 7 & 8 we're going to Hickory Hill in Bath NY. Close enough to get there after the kids get out of school.

The biggie is in July we're taking 2 weeks and going back to Bar Harbor Maine. We'll be staying at the KOA on Mt Desert Island in the woodland section. We took a week and a couple of extra days last summer and loved the place. The problem was there was so much to do we didn't get to everything.

We're also hoping to get up to Lake Placid and a try some new places.

Our kids are on the swim team here and the coach is talking about going to a meet near Binghamton. There is also talk if we do this meet the team well stay at a nearby campground. We would go to the meet during the day and hang out at the campground. The kids would have a ball
