First I'm assuming this is a WFCO 8900 series converter. 55 amp. I cannot totally read the model number in Mary's pic. I think is says WF-8955

Yes, the WFCO's have a red light blown fuse...

Yes, the WFCO's have a red light blown fuse indicator.

Let us know what you find out if the recall install was part of the problem. That should not have created a short but if they had a bare...
