If your Jeep is only a 4 pin it too will need some wiring and a brake controller. Generally a vehicle with a tow package came with a 7 pin the others did not.

The 7 pin is something that should be a priority, with the 4 wire system you have no trailer brakes loaded you could be over 3,000 pounds that could be a hand full to stop.

I'll assume you mean adapter so you can plug the big camper plug into the house? The camper was wired as a 7 pin so will have to find the old or cut wiring to return it to 7 pin and a 7 pin plug.
