OF COURSE THE GAS WAS ON. i LIT THE STOVE SEVERAL TIMES TO MAKE SURE IT WAS COMING THRU. IT WOULD START AND THEN GO OUT AFTER AN UNDETERMINED TIME. THANKS FOR INFO. GA/PEACH
