1981 Restoration Project Part 1
Bought this camper for $800 bucks from a guy who used it as an elk hunting camper. Needs work, but should make a great little family camper.
dining area repainted 9.11
overhead cabinet 8.11
kitchen area repainted 8.11
Kitchen repainted 8.11
stove sink repainted 9.11
Counter removal. Note the broken or missing support pieces along the wall and edges.
Old 3 piece countertop.
Removed the old panelling "cabinet bottom" over the water tank.
Had to rebuild the cabinet frame. Used stronger 1"x2"s and screws over the original flimsey wood strips and staples.
New center support between stove and sink areas.
Finished cabinet frame.
The sink and faucet were in good shape, just needed to be cleaned. The sink drain and strainer were pretty beat up and needed replaced. Standard...
Installed the sink and faucet on the new counter top before putting it back on the cabinet.
Test fit.
Perfect!
Stove/oven back in place.
Finished.
