lol, it does fold up to be used as a cabinet though. In bunk form, Sunline claimed it was only good for a 75-100# child though, simply because it uses the flimsy window valances to hold it up.

I'd rather have more headroom but it would be a nice feature if I had little ones.

We put the bunks down and use them to store our clothes, towels, etc. as the wardrobe in the 1550 is very small. It keeps all the stuff off the tables and floor.

I took the center section out of mine and fixed the fold up section to the overhead and use it for storage and mounted my fancy radio in the face.

I've removed the part of it with the door fronts but left the bottom as a shelf and I'm planning on adding a little bit of a lip in the front and keeping a lot of my kitchen stuff up there in bins.
