bedding area, complete with 5000 btu window ac unit. I think I may upgrade the window AC unit to 8000-12000, we'll see whats in the budget. Also planning on rebuilding the whole bedding area, using thicker slats and then getting a thick, full sized memory foam futon mattress.

    Hi, ElGordo.
    I recently bought 1983 model, almost identical to yours. I am in the process of tearing out a lot of the inside, including the dinette area. I have some 'before' pictures to post and i need to start taking 'in process' pics today. I look forward to seeing your progress. Good Luck!
