That's most definitely a '57 2 door Belair. My uncle had a 4 door that was almost identical to that one. I loved that car, I still carry a picture of itin my wallet

Yup, I missed the back fin. I had a college room buddy who restored one as a hot rod. The 57's he said where unique that they only made so many of them and that year is very sought after with the car buffs. Do not know all the details, just that pic was a flash back to a long time ago... I can remember those things a lot better then where I went yesterday....

The blue in the center GMC pu I beleive is a 56 and the other a 58 Chevy. Looks like fun. Love the old cars/trucks, and campers too. Any shows like that the end of Feb??

YES, H.B. I believe the national Brooksville vintage show . ,North of Tampa will be near the end of Feb..20-23 Sertoma Youth Ranch
85 Myers Road, Brooksville, Florida 34602...
Today was one of our Cedar Key days. Sunny mid 60's. ..kayak & fishing boat paradise in this small town.. No stop lights,, good bicycle town.. We did stop by at Low key Hide A Way & visit with Pat.. Bought their hard cover photography book about the region & their Sun Line travels.. They still have the RV off site.. Pic of the famous TIKI Bar.
Oh yes the nightly SUNSET show right off the campground.

Awesome! Hopefully the Sunline attracted some attention at TCT. I want to make it over to the Milford rally some day since it's only 20 mins from me, but it seems that we always schedule the Midwest M&G on the same weekend.
I can't remember if I heard, did Tim Heintz come to the Cedar Key rally?
That's a beautiful Airfloat! I think that's the one Tim restored. My second favorite vintage trailer!
I've already decided my next project will be to find a late '50s Shasta 16 SC/Airflyte, ideally in white and pale yellow. With wings, of course. Not that I need it by any means, but I just want one to look at. It's fitting since the Shasta plant in Leola, PA that cranked out the winged Shastas back in the '50s and '60s later became a Sunline plant for many more years!

Thursday was moving day as we drove about 40 miles south on route #19 , four lane divided remote hwy to south Homosassa Springs.. Actually the Chassahoitzka campground.. prior state park , now private, tall wooded sites, new bath-house with security code # access , heated clubhouse.. fast Wi-Fi right here in the RV, no private TV system... Big screen tv in clubhouse.
Biggest draw is crystal clear creek, Manatees floating by, kayak paradise.
S.F. 10 minutes after un-hitch a 62 restored SHASTA rolls by , & couple actually live in South Chattanooga, near me. !!
....
Here is a pic of our #49 site for 4 to 6 days. A few openings in the park.. I phoned ahead two days & got spot "On Hold". Tall street lights lit up at night, quiet. Funny I met up with another web pal from the RV over 50 F.B. group. He mentioned this park. He was still here & across the street from me on #23. ! I dont know who lays out these designs.
..

SUNDAY Night . Vacation & trip going well , Having good connections, friendly neighbors...We stayed SIX night in a CARE-FREE resort , Homosassa River RV , 222 sites , & about five were vacant each site for late arrivals.( $42 /Night)
Wife had a music rally here wee offered half ( $21 /night) I ACTUALLY GOT IN THE SWIMMING POOL twice , one on Tuesday & warmer Sat afternoon High 70;s.
Here is another PIC of our site at Homosassa river RV , our SunLine is in the center at end of creek .. Campers here very active playing STREET GOLF twice a day . HaD not see that before.
The OLD Homosassa is very scenic part of Old Florida , A very clean park on the river / creek is called CAMP "N" Water, could go there next winter. A funny MONKEY island is ther to wathch these five Primates entertain the boaters.
Today drove 110 miles North up Rt #19 to PERRY. four miles off rd is ROCKY's . a Good Sam park... I do not have a membership, but 75% of time guess we could get 10% discount on that... Of the 37 sites here & a New bath / toilet bldg. there are SEVEN campers in the park . !!! $30 / full hookup., Again sscenic S[panish moss Oak trees.

I agree....nice pics. I get to do a little (arm chair) traveling via proxy!
Keep em coming!
We had snow Monday. More to come Tuesday night/Wednesday and then a North-easterly due Sunday, I think.
So, again keep those pics coming.

NO Problem.. On Tuesday , 80 degrees, you all went BOON-DOCKING with us to a music studio in a forest preserve neighborhood... I started the GAS portion of the Refrig for the 1st time.. It has two buttons on the front bottom... HOLD one in &U push the second.. Heard a Swish out back.. could not see any glow thru the older plexiglass square. Outside about a minute or two later the lower right corner coils were getting warm / hot . About 1/2 hr later refrig got cold.. Kept the cover door open when we arrived in the forest. ... our F.B. music contact gave us a cement pad up close to the house ,where the RV cord reached their outlet...
Using two 2 X 4 layers were able to Level the rig up & not Un-Hitch Linda C was a Prior Florida state music champion & the girls did a half day private lesson. Studio is known as CABIN HILL MUSIC & on F.B. for books, etc, also SKYPE Lessons, etc.
After stiff mixers in the evening the three JAMers played till about 11 pm. We had a small campfire going in the afternoon to clean up numerious downed branches.. TWO big picnic tables also along the tree line.
Wed am drove a different route # 319 North out of Tallahassee into southern Georgia. This nice four lane road is Very NICE RV route , (Veterans Hwy ) connects to I-75 at Tifton Mile Marker 62. Getting repaved & widened S.W. of Tifton .. Make sure to use the TRUCK BY-PASS to the West of Thomasville.
Entrance drive PIc , where there was a Pink Cherry tree in Bloom yeserday . ! Very shady , tall trees. SunLine in center of Picture , end of drive. This Goose-neck Backs up Quite well. Made a few three point turns on the trip .
Picnic tables in the open area of back yard.

Very nice. Where is the "envy" icon when you need it.
5 inches of snow topped with 1/2 inch of rain here. ..
