Well we had a nice final trip of the year and the electric woodstove worked perfectly, absolutely no power issues... Only issue we had was having to wake up around 5 every morning to turn it off cause it got really warm in the camper despite it being 30-40 degrees outside, even with the thermostat turned to low on it, lol... One issue we did have was the TP valve on the hot water heater went off... I have never been a fan of that thing ever since we first used it, something about a small jet engine going off directly under the bed just never sat well with me... In the spring, along with the axle flip, I think my other major project will be replacing that with an electric tankless water heater...

Wanted to share a couple other projects we did before our last trip... We replaced the old torn and faded awning with a new one and also replaced the kitchen faucet with a oil rubbed bronze goose neck, give us more clearance for doing dishes and also matches the new cabinet pulls...

Bought it on eBay from Arizona RV Parts Center... They were one of the few places I found that still sold fabric that would work on the old Faulkner awning systems...

Stupid weather... Getting really tired of staring at a pile of Amazon boxes full of camper parts in my basement, then looking out my window and seeing my Sunny under it covers surrounded by snow and ice... Ready to get that thing uncovered so I can finish up some new projects and get that thing out on the road!

Yes, I can relate. The weather here is all over the map. Supposed to get more snow tomorrow. The cold down right makes it hard to do much. If it would get to at least above freezing and stay there a few days, I can deal with the it. It takes a day or so to bring the camper from 10 to 15F up to 30 at least.
Hopefully we will get a break here soon. I have lots of camper stuff to do.
Come on spring!

Got the hot water heater rebuilt last month, however I am sad to report this was the final project on our Sunny as the decision was made to sell it... The wife and I recently purchased a 32ft 5th wheel camper because we decided to wanted to do more traveling and although we loved our little Sunny, it was pretty tight for us to spend much more then a long weekend in... We had every intention on keeping to Sunny to use for the occasional short weekend trip, and keeping it set up on our property as a "guest house" for friends and family, however once the word got out that we had purchased a new camper the offers on the Sunny started pouring in and we just couldn't turn them down, lol...

Hey everyone, just checking in and seeing how everyone's camping season is going... We definitely miss our little Sunny but are having a blast with our new-to-us 5th wheel... Been our several times so far and are getting ready for an 8 day trip up to Raystown Lake... Of course much like the Sunny we can't leave well enough alone so I figured I would share some of the work that we

Wow, that's deep! Overall the with the savings in plumbing drain space, does it take up about the same amount of space in the cabinet below?

The new sink is a little deeper, but beings I don't need the continuous waste line from the double bowl it actually takes up less space in the cabinet... We just always hated double bowl RV sinks because you can never fit anything in them... This is a regular residential sink bowl sink I found that was an exact fit in the original hole in the counter top...
