The shut off gate valves are outside next to the dump pipe hook up. They have T handles on them.

Each layout is a little different but here you can see on my prior T2499 there is a black tank...

Good thought! Didn't think of that but it now...

Good thought! Didn't think of that but it now can easly explain how that much water made it's way in there with no excess pump running as Wilson3 reported.

If you are using the fresh tank as your water...

If you are using the fresh tank as your water supply source, and you have a leak into your black tank, you should hear the water pump kick in and run while you are not using a faucet or toilet.
