kitchen faucet

just purchase a 2007 que s.e. great trailer. Having to repair a few small items, one thing I am having trouble repairing or replacing is the kitchen faucet. It is a single lever with a stow-away spout, if anyone knows the name of the manufactor or name and model number of the faucet I would sure be greatful. Also looking for a parts dealor where I can purchase a new faucet or a rebuild kit. thanks

When we had our QUE one of the things I hated was that faucet. (the other was making the bed every night) We searched and searched for a normal replacement and couldn't find anything that would fit. My main complaint was by the time I swiveled it far enough to get hot water out of it the pressure was so great that it was splashing all over the kitchen. IF that's your problem, the answer to that one is to switch the flex lines so that the hot comes out first. That meant that if we wanted cold we had to go into the bathroom - but the bathroom's not too far away in the QUE ! As for who makes that contraption, I THINK (not sure) the whole stove / sink thing is a Dometic product.

We love our Que, but hate that faucet. We haven't found any replacemnt faucets, either. Our plan (it hasn't been enacted yet) is to put cut offs on the feeder lines under the sink. Then we can turn down the flow, especially on the hot water, and hopefully get the adjustment just right. We have considered a single hole kitchen faucet installed into the counter top by the sink, but hate to drill a hole in the countertop!

There is a company by the name of Smev that produces sinks, ranges, and combo units very similar to what was used in the Que. It is entirely possible that they are even the same units rebadged.

Anyway, it might be worth looking into their stow-away faucet offerings to see if they produce a direct replacement that might work "better."
