Hi All,
Am new to the forum and hoping my post meets with your approval.

I am the owner of a Sunline that I plan to put up for sale when spring arrives here in SE Michigan. (I know, spring officially started a few days ago....tell the snow on my lawn that!) As it turns out my wife and I don't use it as much as we thought we would. We have thoroughly enjoyed it and it has been fun, but have decided to consider selling. That said, I am looking for guidance on what a fair price for buyer and seller would be or where to look for that. I am inexperienced at this and in the process of doing some research, came across this owners' site. So, who better to ask than you guys!

Briefly: 2004 Solaris T299SR. Excellent on the inside and I mean that. Very nice on the outside, too, a few minor blemishes. All functions fine. I am 2nd owner. Maybe 5000-8000 miles on it.

You can post or e-mail me at bbarryryan@hotmail.com. Can send pics and data. I will try to add pics but you are dealing with a computer cripple (show some patience). thanks so much.

Hi BBarry,

That is a nice T299SR. I can tell by the decals someone cared for this camper early on in it's life.

Here is the NADA RV value. This is not an absolute, but get's you in the ball park

Here is another check point. This is what some online dealers are advertizing Sunlines in the same approx weight/size/year range. And as you can see the prices are sort of all over.

If you can find the right buyer, that camper is light years ahead of many other brands new ones.

Best of luck to you.

John

Thanks so much for this, it looks just like what I needed. Was having trouble with the Kelley Blue Book page. Hope I did not put you out.

Yes, it is a real clean unit. When we were trailer shopping in MI we only found this one Sunline. Its quality was well above the other brands that we looked at. The layout was excellent for two people, the parts counter guy at the General RV gave Sunline 2-thumbs-up for integrity, and the quality helped to seal the deal. I could truly recommend this brand to anyone.

The Novi, MI store. The gent's name is Jerry. At the time we purchased the trailer in 2006 he was a salesman, now I only see him at the parts counter. He told us a bit about specific points of construction that he was knkowledgable of that other brands did not have. Very helpful guy.

Ah yep, I know Jerry well. I live about 4 miles from that store and worked there (with Jerry in parts) for a little while. He is all about Sunline, and I drilled it into him even more...
