Will Sunlines become collectors like Airstreams?

I was just thinking the other day(while hand waxing our Sunline), wondering if Sunline owners and their trailers would someday become like Airstreams. Get togethers, clubs, restoration projects, etc... Fellow at work is a very active Airstream owner, goes to owners rallys, is busy rebuilding his 1968 model. I was thinking about the auction selling off all the drawings, tooling, jigs, etc. I am afraid much of the information needed someday to restore/rebuild our Sunline's may be lost forever. I wonder if someone with the funding and the business sense may have bought up some if not all of the Sunline remains, maybe start up a small restoration/customization business. Think there might be a market for it? I am still waiting to hear another brand from Forest River(the thought makes me queasy) or Thor is the New, Improved Sunline. Churned out cookie cutter fashion in Indiana.

One way to know that we have the real thing if knockoffs are made.Look at the insulation. Is it fiberglass or the foam garbage. Another one of the MANY reasons why we chose to go with a Sunline Coach

One of the things that is a huge factor in determining whether Sunlines will become like Airstreams is the activities of an Owners Club.
