Hey Rich,
THe Brunswick campground is a no frills place, most all lots have nice grass, some are under shade trees, many are basically in a "field" type setting. about 14 sites back up to the river. There is a boat ramp, bath house (which I've never been in), a small playground, and not sure but maybe a horse shoe pit. They offer a nice size load of camp fire wood fo the money. If your into bike riding, your right next to the tow path. Some of the sites have 4 hookups on a pole, so "y's" are needed for water connections. There are 4 electrical outlets on those posts. I am supposed to have sites 1 & 2 which are back-ins right next to the boat ramp, so I will have some river view. My best friend George will also be there with his Sunline 1950. The 4 pole hookups are often used by groups that park in "sorta circles" so that every unit faces the center. I was there 4th of July and it was not rowdy at all and it was Crowded. You do cross several RR tracks to get to the campground (go slow), and then down a narrow gravel road, past the treatment plant to the campground. There is no smell from the plant. Think it was 23 bux a night. Your not too far away, take a ride and check it out. I'll be gone most of the day saturday to a Greyhound adoption promotion, but back for the evening. "IF" you ride up, stop and say hello.
