This switch is in the main bedroom just don’t know what it is

It could be a switch to turn on and off the lights in the room without turning them on or off individually. We have one like that for our bathroom.

We thought of that however when we turn the switch on it lights up red. Could this be an emergency switch for the furnace when it lights up it means it’s powered on and when it’s off, it means everything’s off for the furnace?

no its suppost to ours does the same thing its so you remember to turn it off

I like to tell people when you find a mystery switch that looks like a light switch and turning it on doesn't make noise, turn on every single light in the trailer and then try the switch. That should help determine what it goes to.

Just make sure it isn't for the electric element on the water heater, but usually when those went to the wall switch in '98 and later, they added a label.
