What did you do to the Sunline today?

Earlier this week (before the snow), we got new OEM tow mirrors installed on the F-150. Last summer, the passenger side mirror got hit by a piece of equipment in a construction zone & broke both the sideview and the add-on tow mirror. A few weeks ago, we had "Big Gray" parked streetside and a truck broke the driver's sideview and tow mirror. In pricing OEM replacement mirrors, the manual extension tow mirrors were actually cheaper than the regular sideviews so we went with them. Can't wait to use them towing... now if only it would warm up and the snow would go away!

I like a those mirrors. I have a pt job driving for a car dealer, and the mirrors are great for campers, or a truck with a dump bed or box.
Hate to miss the m&g at Buttonwood, but we are going with our camping group the weekend before.

Nice looking tow mirrors. :cool: Ya can't beat a good set of mirror when tow'in the camper. And the blind spot mirror is very handy, can see the curb before the camper goes up over it...

On my high up truck bed an entire small car can hide in my passenger side blind spot. You cannot see any roof of the car even... with out that right side blind spot mirror it gets real hard to know if you can pull to the right.

Thanks! We're looking forward to using them with the 2363... some day when the snow melts. As a matter of fact, we'd be happy to be part of the "Sunline Snow Haul" and fill up the bed of the F-150 to deliver to Dale in Texas and then camp in Palo Duro. In fact, looking at the foot+ that we have now, and with Dale saying it's around 70 degrees down there, that sounds like a great idea! :)

Yes, we do have some nice parks. We're fortunate to have one so close, too. :)

Years of little rain/snow has dwindled our main surface water source.

Water Data For Texas

We'll gladly take 40 days and 40 nights. After all, He said he wouldn't destroy us like that again. I figure we're safe with that. :)
 
I've been putting it off far too long. The refrigerator and microwave in our T1350 have never been anchored in their nest. The microwave was mounted to the top of the fridge with industrial velcro. (That's some tough stuff!) The fridge is a 110v apartment model. Its feet were simply sitting in recesses that were drilled with a Forstner bit. The only thing that was keeping them in place were bungee cords.

The last couple days after work, I bit the bullet and pulled them both out of there. I needed to resize the opening at the top. It was too small for them to stand up straight and level the way they had it. I removed the feet on the fridge and drilled holes in the bottom of the opening for screws that would allow me to secure it from the drawer/shelf space below. After mounting the fridge, I slipped the microwave back onto its velcro - using card stock to keep it from sticking before I had it positioned. Just slipped it out when I had it where I wanted it. Now all I need is to clean my hand prints off of it and a little trim molding to finish it up. It turned out good and solid, and we don't have to worry about it jumping out of there when we're going down the road now. :)

I got the molding put up and painted around the fridge/microwave opening today - to finish the job. Minor stuff. Stopped by Lowe's and picked up some 3/4" x 3/4" wood outside corner molding. Got home, cut it to length, drove a few finishing nails, and threw on some paint.

Turned out looking like it was on purpose, and I'm no carpenter - let alone a finish carpenter or cabinet maker. I got Shelley's seal of approval, so I guess I did ok. :cool:

What did I do to my Sunline today? I watched the mountain of snow melt from on and around it and dreamed about getting it out.

It was a good 18+" on top the trailer before we had some rain and warm weather over the weekend. The snow pikes are shrinking and I hope they stay shrunk! I need to get the trailer moved closer to the house so I can clean and make a few small repairs and renovations. Our first reservations are a mere 6 weeks away... woo hooo!!
 
Got some full moon wheel covers for her. Don't have them on yet, but I'll post pics when I get 'em on.
 
Every now and then. We've been wanting some for a while. Cost too much to take out of our normal budget. Tax refunds are real handy. :)
 
I'm always a little late, but we snuck off to Torryea State Park last weekend in Bristol, FL... Big Fire, lotta beer. Worked perfectly. :)
