Water heater and AC in a 2005 Solaris T-2499

I always run some antifreeze through the FW tank to make sure the line to the pump is protected. On my previous Sunlines, I winterized through the tank because I did not have a second intake line to the pump. Never had a problem. Just took a little longer to get the tank clean. RV antifreeze is not hazardous like auto antifreeze is.

On my 2004, if the HW heater doesn't light, a small led light come on indicating a failure to light. Happened several times this year when my battery was failing while dry camping in Dover. It's nice not having to go out and light the manual style when it's raining.

On mine, I just lift the plywood bed and my tank and pump are right there. I just unhook the inlet hose to the pump and screw in a 90 fitting with a big piece of tygon tubing that I stick into the antifreeze jug so I'm using the pump to fill the system.

Oh, is that what that little light means? LOL! So, that is the light that sits just below the switch? Here I am thinking that it is just telling me that I engaged the lighting mechanism. Does it automatically try to re-fire or is it one and done and you have to keep flipping the switch?

Thanks for the info! Steve

It will try a few times. Not sure how many. Then the little light comes on and it stops trying until you flip the switch. Same with the check light on the fridge.
