Towing with a van?

How many of you out there are towing with a conversion van?And what are you towing? We are looking for a bigger trailer (a Sunny of course-a model 2990 or a 2975 with rear bath option instead of bunks) and wonder what difference,if any, it will make behind our 1994 Chevy van. It is a 5.7L and has been towing our 2653 with no problems..if we find this other TT it will add 400 lbs. total..just about 200 lbs over our listed tow rating.And, if you know of a TT for sale that matches our "search", please let me know! That's a pretty big, heavy combo you're talking. Is your van a 2500 (3/4 ton) or 3500 series? I'd imagine that much weight would not do so hot behind a half-ton. Have you "beefed" the van up somehow?
