tongue weight

Does anyone know what the tongue weight of a 2002 sunline solaris lite m2475 is? You're spec link says it 630 lbs. That seems alittle heavy considering the whole trailers gross weight is 5500lbs. Thanks Fitchy

Actually, that's 11 1/2% so it's in the recommended 10-15% range. Tongue weights can also change greatly depending on how the trailer, particularly the compartments, are layed out. I have a pretty big transverse front compartment that I have to be careful with as it adds tongure weight very quickly!!

I have a Solaris Lite T2363 with a GVWR of 5500 lbs. Loaded for travel (minus a few items for the fridge) it measures 5000 lbs on the scale and my Sherline scale measures 625 lbs for the tongue. That 630 for a m2475 may be right.
