Tongue Jack Fuse

The Ultra-Fab 3000 tongue jack just blew its inline fuse. The blown fuse had a 20 amp rating. Anyone know if this is the correct size? Think I'll replace the glass fuse and fuse holder with a resettable circuit breaker.

My tounge Jack is powered by a "24 inch arm fuse"! Man I gotta get some of these fancy toys!

Hi Wobbly,

I think the 20 amp fuse is probably correct. I don't remember exactly what one mine has, but I think it was pretty big. I haven't had a Ultra-Fab 3000 though.

Just remember to switch arms from time to time. This will avoid excessive musculature on one side and atrophy on the other. After we got the electric tongue jack, I no longer needed to have custom shirts made.

Ultra-Fab tells me to use a 30 amp Slow-Blow or a 50 amp regular.
No wonder, I was so rudely thrust back into the primitive era of manual labor because the dealer put in a 20 amp regular fuse.

OH, aren't our power jacks wonderful for when we're hitching up those weight-distribution bars "IF" something can be power operated (not my arm/back power) then I gotta have it. Power tongue jack, cordless 18V drill for stabalizers. Aah, the hardware/power tool department, my favorite place to shop
