My step-son has a lot of "stuff" in his shed. We got to talking about propane tanks last Sunday and he said I should take a look at the ones he's got because they are bigger than 20 pounders and I can use them for as long as I like because he doesn't have a TT. I 'bout fainted with joy! Here they are partly polished up and mounted on the Sunline:

Definitely a nice find.

Something I wish I'd have done to the Starcraft pop up I had before the Sunline... switch out the tanks for the 2-40 pounders that were on it!

Take care,
Lode

Steve....

Have to go with pwb01's observation. They look identical to the bottles on my late father-in-law's 71 Airstream! Beautiful .... a good reason to NOT need a bottle cover. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how old those tanks are, what style fill heads do they have ?
They were manufactured in 1971, and have been recertified several times, the last in July 2002. They do have the correct OPD's on them. The manufacturer is Lennox - the same folks that make heating systems - their logo is stamped on the upper collar next to the TW and WC.

Find of the week, that is the find of the century!! To get those for free...Man, that is a steal.

Ever since I saw a set of these on a European Camper, I've drooled over them ever since and Cindy and I were just talking about how cool they would look!

Nice Find!
