The dining table/bed

We slept in the Sunline for the first time Easter weekend. The bed is super comfortable. The little ones slept on that little futon-like thing (perfect for small children, useless for anyone over four ft. tall !). Our grown daughter slept on the dining table/bed. It was very uncomfortable with just the cushions. Does anyone use anything over the cushions to make it more comfortable? We put a hunk of memory foam down and that did not help at all. I'm not sure how often we'll use it, but I'd like it to be as comfortable as possible.

I've yet to find a good solution for either the jacknife or the dinette. I usually just put an Aerobed on top and call it a day. Not the best solution, but it's better than right on the dinette cushions or rolling/sliding into the center part on the jacknife.

I'm pretty fussy and I just put a 2" memory foam thing on top of mine then roll it up and put it in the shower for the next time. Use it for both the slid out bed and the dinette.

The jackknife bed in my T-2570 was really comfortable, except for the crack, but I always managed to stay on one side of it when I slept on it.

The dinette, that's another story altogether. Too many times I had to suffer at the hands of that wicked device. The cushions seem soft when you're sitting on them, but not once you spread out your body weight laying down. I really never came up with a solution. Well, not unless you count buying a new rig with a built in sofa/airbed and free standing dinette...

I am glad to know it is called a jackknife bed. But I doubt either of you would sleep on ours! It is short and has a wooden end on it. The kids managed to sleep on it, but an adult would be very uncomfortable. Two can sit at it, when in upright position, but that is it.
