Where can one find the picnic table and bench fitted covers that I see more and more while camping? They come in blue, burgundy and green (That I have seen).

Thanks,
Rich

Found them in these mail order catalogues. I too have been looking in stores without any luck. Each catalogue has a different price, so check the shipping costs and anything else you may want to order to find the best price overall. I have ordered from all 3 companies and find that Harriet Carter has the fastest delivery.

Thanks,

I checked each link you sent and had seen those before with my Google search. They are a good price, but what I've seen lately are more durable and cost much more.

I remember last year when I first saw a couple campers with the covers, there must have been an ad in a Trailer magazine as I was curious and checked, saw the price and did not purchase one at that time. Wife thought that they were too expensive, but now she thinks that she'd like to have a set. Over Memorial Day at the campround, I saw more than a few with the table covers. Actually, most motorhome campers had them. They are a solid color. Had I thought more at the time, I should have asked where they got them.

We bought ours at one of the CG we visited in the past. They have them for sale a few at a time in several different colors. One of the ladies in the store has a husband that runs an upholstry business doing cars, and diner booths, etc... He will make them custom ordered in any color that he has. It's been a few years but I think we paid about $60 for them.

Do you have a name and/or address?

Rich

Try calling the CG. They may be willing to mail them to you. If they do have them and they don't want to ship them Mandy and I will plan a trip over to that CG pick them up and mail them to you. I havn't been there for about a year, but I would assume that they do still have them.

The info on the CG is:

Happy Campers,

I really appreciate your info and.............

I stopped in at PA Dutch Country, and they only had 2 which were of a color that we did not want. They planned on getting no more due to the present economy but did tell me who made them. I called and did get what I wanted in the color that I wanted. The set did cost more than you paid since the vinyl was on sale for what was made for the campground to sell.

So if there is anyone out there that would like a set, carrying bag included, they were made and can still be made by Reigle's Auto Upholstery, 2624 W. Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 717-272-1553.

My price for a 5 ft. table was $110. It took 5 yards of vinyl at $15 a yard, $10 shipping for the vinyl and $25 for him to make. He told me that he could get any color if I would go to his shop and select the color. I didn't need to as I wanted dark blue.

I am completely satisfied. He even delivered it to me at my campsite in New Jersey (Lake & Shore) which he was visiting on a weekend that I was there.

The one at Camping Work is not what I had wanted. What I have now is a heavy vinyl. It is designed so it needs no ties to hold it down.

We've had lighter cloths before and they don't hold up.

Very happy with what we now have.

Rich,
I'm glad to see you got them. Ours are a few years old and still look brand new after getting used quite often. They are a must have in our book.

Lowell,

We are so happy to have our set. We would not have know where to find them without your input. Unfortunately, the campground only had 2 left in a color that we did not want, but they gave the name and address of the shop who produced the table covers, and I went from there.

Thank you for your help!

Happy camping!

Rich
