We just had a hail storm kick up and was stationary for quite a while. We live under the pink/purple section, of the picture below:
The hail started out the size of marbles, but quickly got to just smaller than golf balls. After the hail stopped, I snapped this picture:
Our driveway is 60' from where these leaves came from:
The Sunny pit sustained a bit of damage also. When I dug it out, I put as many large rocks along the upper end as I could. I must not have gotten enough in place, because there was a small mud slide in the corner:
I'll have to get a load of the large limestone rocks, to stack along the back side of the pit. I hope that will help keep all that dirt/mud in place.
With the hail we got, I'm sure Sunny would have been severely damaged. The new Sunny port got here just in time!
