Hi folks,
We just pulled into Mayberry Campground in Mt. Airy, NC - and what do you think is right behind us?? Another Sunline, so of course it didn't take me too long to get an invite in... 😉

This couple bought this model directly from the manufacturer 12 years ago, and have LOTS of problems with it. I did give them this website, tho, so hopefully we will see them on here soon.

And YES, I got a photo for you... it is so low to the ground that they only have 1 step, and they have to remove their stabilizers before they hit the highway...

Is that one a 99? It has the same decals as our 99 T2970. Ours is that low too.

Sunlines ARE low so that's not really a "problem" so to speak. They built them that way to reduce wind drag when traveling. The solution is to "flip" the axles. Our 28' long Tweety used to drag alot on winding roads around the switchbacks, coming into the driveway, and going into gas stations. Now with the axle flip we're good to go pretty much anywhere.

Ok, I will try to remember to double-check the year & model tomorrow morning before we leave here.

Their problems: stereo replaced several times because sound went up or down at will, leaks in the front, leaks in the rear, leaky rubber roof. These are the ones that I remember. They eventually spoke to the head honcho and got things resolved.

Not sure but that looks a lot like my 2975 ? Front bed room and eith bunks & bath, or large bath option (as mine), in the back.

The first trip down south with mine, I drug the left rear corner comming out of a gas station, and cracked the drain trap from the corner shower.

lucky Sunline fixed it under warranty.

Very low as you can see. That unit has the fancy siding (heaver),on it as opposed to mine with the stock siding. Think it probably sets even a little lower than mine.
