Just wanted to let folks know that I have almost all of the Sunline brochures dating from 1982 until 2007, the Advancer-lite brochure, and a 2002 Sunline 5th wheel brochure, and the Que.

Sooo, if anyone needs some info I'd be more than happy to help, "IF" I can.

Hey Bob & Ed,

My trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg was great. The weather fantastic. Traffic going south was light, but OH BOY coming home it was a killer! Too many vehicles and too dang many backups for no apparent reason, long slow trip home.

Ed,

Hehe, your talking to a top notch computer dummy here. I don't have a clue how to do what you suggested, but it sure would be great for our site. Any suggestions?

Could I photocopy the brochures, and send them to someone that could do what you suggested? If so, I could probably copy a couple at a time.

Wow!, first let me say this is quite a collection that you have. They would also be a valuable asset to have on this site. With regard to your questions about photocopying them, a photocopy will only be black and white, whereas if you can get them scanned they will be in color. Do you know of anyone near you that has a scanner that will produce a PDF file?

TrailBlazer,

I don't know of anyone right off hand, BUT I can ask around. I drive a school bus and we have 150 drivers, so I might get lucky and find someone. I will write down what I need to have done so I know what to ask for. Maybe even the Vo-tech training school. I will try to get it done, so we can all have easy access to the info. I am also not very keen on relinquishing the brochures to just anyone.

I have a new all in one HP printer, scanner, copier? does that help me any?

My machine is a HP C4100 series All in One

KanyonKitty, I don't blame you for not want to give these brochures to just anyone. Since you have an HP C4100, you should be able to scan each page of the brochures as jpg files onto your computer. The jpgs can latter be converted to PDF files if necessary. With this printer you should have a software program installed on your computer that would allow you to scan the brochures one page at a time. If you look at the program, look for the feature that allows you to scan photos.

TrailBlazer,

I'll check out what I have in a night or two. I don't really know what this new printer will do as I just installed it. Will be great if I can get these brochures available to everyone. Thanks for the advise,

Kitty

How to make a .PDF

Kitty:
Your HP C4100 can scan a .PDF file directly. Just launch your HP director software, select scan as image with text. after you scan a page continue with the rest of pages one at a time until you are done with one brochure. A window will open up prompting you to save the file. Directly under the place for the file name there is a small window showing file type. The default is .jpg , just click the dropdown arrow at right, choose .PDF and hit the save button.

Kitty,
I am a brand new member and decided to join after seeing your post. I have a collection of brochures dating back to 1974. Most are color, but some are photocopies. As of June 2006, I have originals, or copies of, all the brochures known around the company. I was in the process of scanning/restoring them for LaRue at Sunline this summer. She had discussed putting them on the website once I finished, but I don't think that will happen now. So far, I have completed PDF's for 1974 through most of the '78 models (some are photocopies in PDF's). All of the others I have scanned, or have yet to scan, but I haven't put them in PDF's yet. I hope to get enough free time in the near future to show some progress. I would be most proud to share my collection with whoever would like to see it.

I noticed the title of this website is for Sunline TT, FW, and Truck Camper owners. By the way, don't forget those few Sunline Owners who own Solaris Motorhomes and the Coyote Travel Trailers and Motorhomes (Coyote was a model line not bearing the Sunline name built in the late '70's. I only have info on the '79 models.).

If anyone has older brochures and has the ability of scanning them for me, I would really appreciate it. I am missing most originals of the '60's and '70's line and some of the '80's line, so please reply if you have anything (copies or originals)!

Hello Sunline Fan,

Good to have you on board. Do you have a website that we can use to see all of your brochures?
