I was in the files section looking for the brochures on the 195sr and don't see it listed.I was wondering what was the tongue weight and the dry weight and the max weight.I am looking at a 2007 model and was considering trading my T-1950.I think they have a nice layout and it looks like it wouldn't weigh much more. I found a 2007 model used but it looks like it was never used it was so clean.

The 195SR was never listed in the brochure because the prototype was built in June '06 and then only a few were built in the end, 22 to be exact. I know of 14, or 63.6%, of all the 195SR's, and I have VIN's for 11 of those 14.

Thanks for the info.I would be going from 420lb tongue weight to 700lbs,wow what a difference.I didn't realize the slide room adds so much.I would guess that there is a motor to open the slide room, using the 12 volt battery.

Absolutely. The switch is mounted on the overhead cabinet along the front wall. There is an auxilary crank if the battery is dead or the motor quits.

I was in the same boat as yourself hvolt1, I too have a T-1950 and would love to have a 195sr, but the weight was more than I thought. I toured some at our Meet & Greet last June and they are beautiful inside.

Where did you find the 195sr for sale? I'm always looking for them. And I know there are not many to be found. So I guess we will stick to our reliable T-1950 which we do love, and have no problems with. Take care.

I found one in Butler ,Pa . If we get a good trade then I would do it,but dealer doesn't think my camper is worth much(2006 model).I guess the biggest reason I am interested in it is it's nearly new and of sunline being out of business,I may never have another oppertunity to get one.The tongue weight is a concern but with my TV I could do it.
I also noticed that the earlier 195sr have the old style of windows and the later ones built have the euro type of windows ,which we really like. Bob

The one at Butler is the one built in June, the Prototype.

It has been sitting there a while, so I'm not sure if they're willing to deal yet, but that info might work to your advantage.

When you say sitting there a while what kind of time do you mean?
As far as being a prototype is this good or bad,may I encounter some problems? Bob

I knew about that one in Butler and I was visiting my stepdaughter and she lives very near Butler this past weekend and I was very eager to take a trip up to see it, but time constraints prevented it. It was probably good I didn't, cause I would have wanted to drag her home.

I also noticed the side window is mounted 90 degrees off from another model ,I wonder if that was intentional or a mistake.Since it is a prototype I would guess that it was sometime new they were trying.

Bob, I saved the pics for # 7169 on March 5th of this year. It was put on eBay then (I'm not sure why), but I believe they had it for a good time prior to that. They did originally sell it just before Sunline closed and the original owners I'm told traded it in for something larger.

Another member on this site (Yorkieville) did make a trip to go look at that coach, and she says they weren't willing to deal at all, and I think that was at the beginning of May. Hopefully they've changed their mind now since they still have it.

I don't think the prototype thing is all that bad. If the company was still in business, I think you'd have a hard time getting info, but now, we all basically have prototypes. I know who built that 195SR, so if you had any questions, I think I could get an answer for you. Also, it is a used coach, so I think any initial problems would be taken care of already.
