Angie has been hooked up to 15AMP electric for almost 2 months. With nothing but problems with it, we decided to move the 2653 to a local KOA. They have several monthly sites and the rates aren't too bad. As we were in the process of getting hooked up and ready to move, it started raining. Then, as she was pulling off the leveling ramp, the ramp kicked up and hit the dump valves. That pulled the black pipe out of the black tank. I am really glad we had already dumped the tanks!
I decided to wait till we were at the KOA, before making the repair. When we got to the CG, they asked which site we wanted. Having been there to dump the tote earlier that day, we knew which sites were open. This is the same CG, that I spotted a 2499 in a month ago. We ended up getting a neighboring site... How cool is that?
Once we got set up, we headed to Lowes for repair supplies. Since it was still pouring down rain, I got to do it while lying in some soggy and cold grass... not fun, but I did not want to leave her without a potty.
I am thankful for 2 things.. One is that I have made this repair on another Sunline and two, Angie did not have a camera handy! Anyway, here's a pic, for your viewing pleasure!
